Ash at
15. What a Beauty!
Ash coming to Shan's rescue when we lived in Bumpkinville! Miss Ash put HOT PINK punky paint in her hair, silver glittery eyeshadow...plats, black everything, kind of "Goth" if you will. :)

She did
it all since school was giving Shan a hard time about her hair
being bleached. We marched into the Principal's office, and he,
Mr. Spanky-not his real name, took me into his office and began
chewing on me...saying, "Shan's hair was not acceptable!!!"
I said, "Oh, Really? Well, have you
seen her sister?" ....hehehe...true story I swear!...I said, "Take a gander out yonder
at 'er, and just imagine that Shan CAN look just like her Big
sis!"
<g>
Needless
to say, with a doc's note, stating that it was too soon to redo
the hair... Shan got to keep her hair this way... Funny thing, he
and I never had this discussion again and she wore it this way
the entire next year, and so did another 40 kids!
And Ash did all of that just for her little sis! Sisterly love,
isn't it great?
.... As for Bumpkinville we don't live there any more, I think they ran us out! Our last official trip there was to the Police Dept...umm another story, another time. ;)
Standing joke at our house. HEB
is a grocery store.
